This makes me so excited for our wedding! I found a great deal on craigslist for vases and snagged them up as quick as I could (thanks to the help of Ginger). I am so excited to keep working on the details - so much to get started on.

Needless to say I've seen A LOT of Oreos in my lifetime, but nothing quite like this! The first oddball of the pack.

Stephen requested to have a picture of his progress thus far for the picture of the day. However it's on his camera which is 15 minutes away from me.... So for a temporary place holder, here's a picture of his progress back in April. I can't wait to show some more pics of his project - it's come a LONG ways!

Although I've been rather sad summer sunshine and warmth has left... I am rather excited to wrap up in warm sweaters and dream of winter snowflakes. This block was the perfect reminder of what's ahead!

Unexpected Details

I hardly ever use coins when checking out so they always collect at the bottom of my purse. [ That is until I realize my piggy bank needs to be fed and I reach into the depths to gather the handful :-) ]

Tonight as I was cleaning out my purse I found this shiny new penny mixed in the mess. I had no idea the 2010 had new designs. Something tiny to catch my attention... I love unexpected details!

19/365 - Growing Gremlins!

These decobeads (aka 'gremlins' by me) are the coolest thing ever! They start as teeny-tiny beads and grow to almost marble size. I ordered 'orangeade' beads to see what they'd look like for potential centerpieces for our wedding. They started off as a beautiful orange but unfortunately lost most of the color in the water after 4 hours :-( HOWEVER - they are still gorgeous and shimmer like crazy. I still have lots to experiment with so stay tuned!

Goodbye October

Where our where has all the time gone! I can't believe it's already November, and outside it's finally starting to cool off. Though, this past weekend Lubbock set a record - 90 degrees on Saturday! We definitely took advantage of the awesome weather! After church yesterday Stephen and I went on a 15 mile bike ride. Our road bikes have definitely been lonely as it's been a month since we've ridden.

I've got to get a few more rides after work before time changes. For everyone who hasn't seen our bikes... we have twin bikes just in different colors:

Besides carving pumpkins, we spent our Halloween handing out candy and rooting for the Rangers. It was a much needed lazy Sunday!
